Hutchinson resigns as Bush Foundation president

Peter Hutchinson has resigned as president of the Bush Foundation? ? The foundation said in a news release Friday that Hutchinson will continue to serve as an advisor on certain projects after he leaves later this month.

The St. Paul-based foundation said it is starting a search for Hutchinson's replacement. In the interim, staff will report to Board Chair Jan Malcolm.

Hutchinson has served as the group's president since November 2007.

His career has included a stints as commissioner of finance for the State of Minnesota, superintendent of the Minneapolis Public Schools? ?
