Here is the latest Wisconsin sports news from The Associated Press:

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Corey Hart's grand slam in the eighth inning lifted the Milwaukee Brewers to a 7-4 win over the Philadelphia Phillies last night. Ryan Braun and Aramis Ramirez also homered for the Brewers. Phillies reliever Josh Lindblom took the loss after giving up three runs in less than an inning of work.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden led the Cleveland Browns to a 35-10 preseason win over the Green Bay Packers last night. Weeden played the first half and was 12-0f-20 for 118 yards. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw a 20-yard touchdown to Jordy Nelson on his first series.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin is looking to the Big Ten title game this season with a pair of division foes facing postseason bans. The NCAA has ruled Leaders division powerhouses Ohio State and Penn State ineligible for the postseason. That leaves the Badgers to deal with Purdue, Illinois and Indiana for division supremacy.

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Paul Goldschmidt and Chris Young hit back-to-back homers last night as the Arizona Diamondbacks topped the St. Louis Cardinals 2-1. Reliever David Hernandez pitched a perfect eighth for the win, and J.J. Putz picked up his 14th consecutive save. Allen Craig drove in the Cardinals only run with an RBI single.
