This is incredibly longer than the typical incandescent light bulb, which will last only 750 to 2000 hours. Using LED lights will not only save money, but will save the time as one will not need to purchase or change bulbs so frequently.

One other major benefit of LEDs compared to other types of lighting is lower temperatures. Most of the electricity used in conventional light bulbs produces a good deal of heat. Both incandescent and compact fluorescent bulbs waste 80 to 90% of energy just producing heat. In contrast, LEDs stay cool constantly. This is much safer, especially if a child or pet may be around. Even more, the lower heat production will help buildings save on cooling costs.

LEDs are also not made out of glass like other light bulbs. Anyone who has ever broken a light bulb understands how potentially dangerous they are, especially if children have access to them, such as with table lamps. LEDs are much safer. Combine the safety with their low energy demands and longevity and LEDS are a lighting option to be considered by any home or business owner.
