It seems like Filipino fight sensation Manny Pacquiao is done listening to all the comments being made by Marquez fans regarding their previous fights. Pacquiao, who has defeated Marquez twice out of three fights, believes it is time for him to cement his legacy by knocking out the Mexican fighter. On the other hand, Marquez too wants the world to know that he indeed defeated Pacquiao before but was never given the victory.
I want to erase the doubt of the last three fights. There's so many people still asking if I won the fights. I think to myself, 'Something is wrong. I have to do it again.' This time, I will train hard to put this fight up in the history of boxing. I want to make this fight short. I want to knock him out,? said Pacquiao during a press conference that was held to promote his fourth fight against Marquez.
It seems odd but Pacquiao, who did not feel the need of fighting Marquez again just three months back, is now on the verge of knocking him out.
On the other hand, the ever-eager Marquez believes it is time to show the world that he defeated Pacquiao in all the three fights. However, Marquez does admit that this time he will need to come up with a new strategy to surprise the Filipino. Both the fighters are well aware of the fact that this fight will decide as to who is the best fighter.
?I think I won all of the last three fights. I would like the referee to raise my hand. Everybody knows I won the fights, and I don't know what happened with the judges. I have to take it out of the judges' hands this time,? said Marquez.
For now, Marquez is happy that the Pac-man gave him yet another chance of proving his mettle. When it comes to Pacquiao, it seems like the Filipino is least bothered in the fight against Marquez and he is mainly looking forward to his fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr.
It is time for the fans to wait and watch whether Marquez will win over Pacquiao or lose again!
