Long Island City, NY?To commemorate September 11^th, LaGuardia Community College is presenting the staged reading of ?The Guys,? a play by Anne Nelson about the aftereffects of the collapse of the World Trade Center.? The event is free and open to the public.

The play focuses on how Joan, an editor, helps Nick, a New York Fire Department captain, prepare a series of eulogies for firefighters who died under his command that day.? Performing the roles will be Professors Stefanie Sertich and Jason Ramirez.

The performance will take place in the Little Theater at 31-10 Thomson Avenue, Long Island City, at 2:30 p.m.? For more information, please call (718) 482-5702.
