Although there are traffic generating services that claim that you can get thousands of visitors for $10, they really don't know what they are doing. They only want your money. Yes, you will probably see thousands of people come to your website, but this number doesn't mean a thing if the traffic doesn't produce any sales. It makes better sense to pay $10 to get those 100 people that want to purchase your product than pay the same for those that don't want to get it.

Would you believe that some marketers think it's ok to slap any old sales copy on their site and hope to make sales? You can believe many decades of research and experience: you must have good copy to make sales on a consistent basis. We've seen copy written in all kinds of ways, most of it is very poorly written, too. It's all about money and quality, so you need to find someone affordable and competent, and ask for writing samples, etc. No money for a freelancer? Do this - study sales letters at Clickbank.com, learn some basics of copywriting, and give it a shot.

In conclusion, there are many new marketers on the web that view these false assumptions as facts, but you must learn how to ignore them if you want your business to prosperous.
